This course is aimed at students who are interested in pursuing a career in Accounting or Finance.
The course allows you to work as an Accounting Technician professional in the corporate or public sector or in private practice.
It also offers you the opportunity to pursue further professional accountancy qualifications with one of the other professional accountancy bodies.
It is a two-year course, however, students will receive an academic award at the end of each year from ATI, Accounting Technicians Ireland:
Year 1 – Certificate for Accounting Technician
Year 2 – Diploma for Accounting Technician
ATI are the leading professional body for Accounting Technicians, with more than 10,000 members and students on the island of Ireland. It was founded in 1983 and provides nationally and internationally recognised accounting qualifications which can open the door to a rewarding career as an accounting technician, as well as further study. - All our PLC courses are available to people who are VTOS eligible. VTOS means Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme. VTOS gives unemployed adults over 21 the opportunity of returning to full time education while retaining their benefits.
